The first three of God’s Ten Commandments are about the relationship between God and man and the basics of faith, and the remaining seven commandments are for the benefit of man. The first three commandments are very important and are based on faith. That is why it is given the utmost importance. If these commandments are violated, the church will become a pagan religion.
If there are gods other than the Father, that belief is lost.
The idol gives a false idea about God. If one believes that God is in the image, then man does not conform to God. The kingdom of God will not come on earth. How does the Spirit of God come in the person who believes that God is in the image? No one has ever seen God. God is the Spirit (1 John 4:12; John 1:18, 4:24, 5:37). Since God is a Spirit and commanded not to make an idol, it is an insult to God.
The third commandment is not to pronounce the name of God. It means not to do injustice in the name of God. Do not use God’s name unjustly. Do not earn or commercialize in the name of God.

They told us how you turned away from idols to look for your Son from heaven, whom Jesus raised from the dead and free us from the wrath to come.

They handed over the glory of the immortal God to idols resembling mortal man, birds, animals or reptiles.
