If you want to build a church in God’s name, you must have God’s permission! It is currently not authorized. You may have noticed, none of the existing temples are in the name of God. It will be in the name of men who have declared the church holy. There is no permission from God to build the Temple. Sacrifices or rituals are not permitted by God. Many churches are built by a church, not by a church or church.
The Jews prayed in synagogues. The “Temple of Jerusalem” was built by David’s son Solomon. It was the only Jewish church built. That’s the only church in the world that has “in God’s name.” The Jews sacrificed on the mountain. After the building of the Temple in Jerusalem, the Jews were allowed to make sacrifices only in the Temple.
Christ had the task of showing the right church from this symbolic shrine. Christ demolished the temple and replaced it with the original shrine. Humans are the shrine where God dwells. God does not dwell in any man-made thing. The body is the temple.
Jesus Christ taught us how to worship God and what is a temple. Christ taught that the church was a “house of prayer” and that it was “a place of prayer for all the nations” and that the true church was for men. The earthly shrine was a symbol. The artificial temples currently being built by various churches are obscuring what the true church is. The House of Prayer is for “all nations” to pray. But the rituals and rituals that take place in artificial temples are not.
“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” (1 Corinthians 3:16)
“We are the temple of the living God.” (2 Corinthians 6:16)
“God does not dwell in temples built by men” (Acts 17:24)
“Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me?” (Acts 7:48)
