After the Flood of Noah’s day, the community began to move to Shinar and settle there on a plain. Nimrod, the son of Ham, Noah’s son, began to deviate from the truth. Nimrod, who became the world’s first dictator, ruled over the city of Babylon (Babylon). Nimrod’s great archery skills made the crowd impressed. They began to worship Nimrod as an incarnation of the sun and other spheres and stars in nature. They built a huge tower, so that God would not again destroy them by the flood. It is called the Tower of Babel. They decided to stay in one place so as not to lose their organized strength. Their goal was a tower that would reach heaven. They used all their skills and hard work.

People were busy building a great fortress into heaven. The people bow down to Nimrod. All their labor is used for something vain. Nimrod and his people are punished for doing what God has done. This tower reminds me of punishment for deviation; At the same time, the futility of human labor against God’s will. The towering tower of Babel stands as a faulty road to approach God. The towers of religion that man builds on high are useless. The Tower of Babel is a symbol. That tower will eventually be demolished. But the people will be punished!
